Different tire question.

My OEM Trailwings are getting worn, so will need new tires soon. Now I'm tempted to go with the TW's again, since I've been happy with them. I ride mostly street, even some highway, and just occasionally dirt/gravel. I'm old, so I don't push the bike off road much. Falling down would be bad, and this is my first off road capable bike. So, I'm over 3000 miles already and probably have at least another thousand on them. So, whats a good 90% street highway tire?

Shinko 705s, kenda 761s and stock tires will work good for mostly street use, im sure theres lots of others too. These are just the ones Ive seen in person lol.

If you were close to me I'd sell you a like new set of stockers real cheap lol.

Post your location and chances are there's somebody near you with a pair of stock tires in good condition that they'll sell ya for cheap. Mine came off the bike with about 180 miles on the odometer.

I'm in Lubbock, tx. I'd love to have a set of stock TW's. For my riding, they're just fine.

Check out the Shinko 244's.

They are a little bit more dirt orientated than the Shinko 705's but they are pretty much dirt cheap. I think I have picked up a front tire at one time for about $25. Looks like the rears are going for about $55 right now. I would say that they are equivalent to the stock tires in terms of performance.

Shinko 244!!! $80 for the set from JC Motors & they last 6-8,000 miles. Better off & on road than the stock Trail Wings. I use the 2.75x21 front & 5.10x18 rear! I can't figure out how to post photos of them on my WRR
