wr250r skid plate?

is worthy to add this or stock bike has some protection already?
It has good ground clearance so maybe it's not necessary?
Just wonder what else I could add, negotiate when I will be ordering the bike.
Any must  have accessories?

If riding off-road it's worth having one, even though on this bike they're well-known to make the engine sound noisier.

I've found that for me, a skid plate comes in very handy for the rocks and such that get sent airborne by the front wheel, something you might not realize happens a lot.
It's not just for covering the bottom of the engine while riding over a pile of rocks.

I put a flatlander on mine and glad I did, few dents in it, stock not much protection at all.

Moose skid here! Wouldn't go without it. Had many times rocks flew up hard and said SH!T im glad I had a skid plate on.

Skid plate is a MUST if you are really riding off road. Any of the ones made for the WR work great just add a sound deadener to the top of it and you'll be fine. I put some contact spray on the top of my plate (Ricochet) and put some Harbor Freight tool tray liner down. It absorbs the sound instead of reflecting it back to you.

If you plan on riding off road,  get a skid plate, bark busters and off road tires to start.  The site below has a lot of good info.  I like the flatland products.   I also would recommend a radiator guard.   I banged up my radiator just by riding through trails.
