I am trying to convince my dad to buy one next year...he is pretty set on the 1200GS, but he does love Hondas....

If he does, I will be sure to get my hands on if for a weekend in the mountains Very happy

Many potential positives about the bike for riders entering the ADV market, but it's gonna be hard getting a GS or KTM guy to make the switch. I don't think that was Honda's goal, though.

I don't know about that. I got rid of my R1200GSA and have my name at the top of the list for a new AT. Something to be said about dealer networks and having easy access to parts.
