South Africa 2010

The biggest sport event on earth I know that soccer is not one of the biggest sports over there but does anybody care or watch the games. I think that Brasil will be the champions.

First game South Africa Mexico 1-1. Pity that Africans lost

I watched most of the France - Uruguay game. We needed to know when half time started & stopped, and when the game ended, because we were monitoring our 3G Radio Network Controller and UTRAN. Big sporting events can stress a system, everybody wants access at the same time. Our company has a very diverse work force, everyone NOT born in Canada is VERY interested in the World Cup.

Right now Argentina one of the really great soccer nations aganst brutal Nigeria. Wow what a game its going to be

Sorry USA, but Ghana played better. Maybe Spain win...

Hey, what does anybody the 'other' side of the pond know about football????
Anyway, as an avid follower of the Premier League & European Champions League, I am 99% certain that the final will be Brazil v Argentina. Brazil play good, but their current manager, Dunga, is just not charismatic enough. So, Argentina have the great 'hand of God', Diego Maradonna, the most colourful manager of all time, & the World's best players, including Lionel Messi - so a no brainer. I just hope the World's best referee, Englishman Howard Webb, is in charge!!!!!
England were pathetic though

I think that England was nocked out by a way better team. But this afternoons game shows the level of competition in soccer. The competition is so hard that any team from rank 1-20 can win the title ! Holland beats the big favorit Brasil this afternoon ! Wow WHAT A GAME

Well, I was wrong initially about Brazil, & yeah, today's game was really cagey, as was the Ghana v Uruguay game. I think Uruguay are too tired & not good enough to beat Holland in the semi-final. Germany v Argentina will be fascinating tommorrow - can't wait!

My money is STILL on Argentina to win the cup (Famous last words................)

Germany - Argentina today ! Cant wait for that game We are 10 friends that will watch the game together. Wow an i really really hope that Germany winns.
