race fuel - VP100 (aka StreetBlaze 100)

Has anyone tried this in their bike? I have the full FMF + programmer and was thinking trying some this weekend.

If you can change your fuel mapping and timing it might work, I would be worried about pinging, (pre-ignition) = piston damage, is it worth it to you to try this, a new motor or rebuild is not cheap, your money. cheer`s

If your engine is stock and has no modifications that would require high octane to resist pinging, I wouldn't be surprised if your bike felt slower.

I called VP racing and they said VP100 is more for cars. The best product for stock 4 strokes bike is T4.

I use 91 but I filled up with 87 last night....(don't know why I grabbed the 87 nozzle) I swear its more responsive (butt dyno of course) actually stayed out a couple more hours than usual..just enjoying the crispy throttle response

My friend gave me container of vp101 I mixed in 3:1 with regular gas, so in theory a 94 octane. I noticed a little bump in low end power, nothing much.
My conclusion is save the money on expensive gas and put is towards other upgrades!
