New 2016 WR250R owner here......

Hey everyone, cant remember if I introduced myself so...    

I have had a.....
2007 CBR600rr (sold)
2006 Vmax (traded in)
2012 FZ8 (crashed at VIR south)

I still have a 2013 R1 (love it)

I was looking into getting a Super Tenere, but realized I have never really done any traveling or offroading on a bike, so I opted to get a 2016 WR250R. I have already purchased it, it will be delivered (a little cold and icy right now in Blue Ridge area VA) in a few weeks. I have ordered a Yamalink, Flatlands skidplate and radiator guard, along with some seal savers. I hope to be getting a 3 Gallon tank, seat concepts seat, and a luggage rack to do some traveling soon. I live 5 miles from skyline drive so I figured I would actually ride it on this bike LOL.

That was the plan, the R1 forum is mostly guys modifying or paying for a lot of REALLY cool parts, I joined this website cause its NOT that. It seems to be more about actually using the bike and learning to maintain and adjust the bike. I really like the trip reports lol, some of you guys are nutz.
