I bent my rear rotor pretty good. I can't bend this one back straight. I'm looking in Tucker Rocky and they list every other Yamaha except for the WRR. Does anyone know what other Yamaha bikes have the same rear rotor? I don't care if it's a different style as long as it works. Thanks. Getting my bike ready for Colorado!
Rocky Mountain has it, but not in stock; might be worth calling and asking how long it would be before they can ship it out:
Typically on OEM parts like that they don't stock them but they order from the same parts warehouse as the dealers.. who also typically don't stock them.
In the past when I have ordered OEM parts from RMATV I usually received them within 2 weeks.

I searched it on ebay n a bunch came up. EBC not stock and saying it fits r/x models. I thought the x had bigger rotors, maybe only in the front? Second one was an ebc that ships from America. A lil more expensive than rmatv at 117$$... Searched the manufacturers part number, MD6319C... One listing said it fit wrf250 n 450 but the others I looked at just said wrr/x....

I believe the rear rotors are the same size between the R and X models - the fronts are different.
It's your money but I will share with you some of my experience with after market rotors. On my DL650 I had worn out my rear rotor and went with an aftermarket one due to cost. About 10,000 miles later I noticed that I had quite a bit of initial brake rear brake play after riding for a period of time after using the rear brake. I put the bike on the center stand and saw that the rear rotor had warped.
I got almost 30,000 miles out of the original rotor and this one warped in 10,000. Figured it was a fluke so I ordered another one and kept an eye on it. Well in about 5000 miles it started warping.
After that I always ordered OEM rotors for my bikes when possible.
Will all aftermarket rotors do this? Probably not. But given the DL650 was my long distance bike and trips over 4000 miles were the norm I figured I would not mess with the aftermarket on that item anymore.

Those are listed as ebc contour rotors, about the same cost as msrp for stock. Hard for me to imagine the stockers would still outperform them.
well i gambled and ordered a yamaha Wr250f/yz250/450 ect rotor (most all the yamaha offroad only bikes are the same). They have the same bolt pattern as the WRR but are 245mm diamtere where as the WR250R is 230mm so not a bolt on
I bought a blue disc guard off of Ebay that said it was for the WRR. I suspect it is for the F, as I had to remove some metal from it to clear the WRR rotor, and the pads only gripped about 2/3 of the disc. I gambled and bought an F disc. It looks like it fits well, the pad grips the whole area, and it clears the guard. An auction similar to what I got: https://www.ebay.com/itm/CNC-Integrated-Brake-Caliper-Support-Brake-Disc-Guard-For-Yamaha-WR250-2006-2018/172520665463?hash=item282b087177:g:KoEAAOSwjDZYmpHC
The F did looks larger but I don't know that it works any better than the R disc.

That link refers to a WR250F, not a WR250R. Although the ad does not explicitly reference "F" or "R", the dead giveaway is the years covered: 2006-2018; the WRR began production in 2008.
You can (and should IMHO) upgrade to the WR450F brake assembly. The rotor is bolt on and you will need the arm that holds the caliper as it's 7.5mm longer to accomodate the larger rotor. I'm running it and would never hesitate to do it again.

I am here in 2021 with the same problem. I've bought a rear disc guard, which is actually the entire rear caliper carrier with a bolted-on shark fin. It's a product from Moose Racing, part number 1711-0230. The local distributor over here in Europe displayed it in their webshop as a part suiting my bike model saved in my account with them. However neither they nor Moose Racing actually have a WR250R in their range of possible bikes. It just says WR 250. What they actually mean is WR250F from MY 2006 onwards. I am pretty damn sure that a WR250 without any suffix was never ever sold during the relevant period of time, at least here in Europe. WRRs on the other hand, are extremely rare here and hardly known at all, even by Yamaha dealers/workshops.
Now, what so ever, I don't think this is a big issue.
The Moose Racing thing moves the caliper position towards bike center, to suite a larger rotor. However, the mounting points for the caliper and the caliper protector (that greyish plastic cage) are an exact match with the Nissin OEM part on the WRR. Just the axle hole is offset.
WRR/X rear brake rotor is 230 mm x 4.5 mm (D x T). WRF rotor is 245 mm x 4.0 mm. I only checked the 2010 WR250F manual, no other model years. But I think they haven't changed that end of the bike in decades.
The bolt hole circle on both models is 6 holes x D133 mm.
So what I will do is: -keep the Moose Racing part (on the shelf), it makes a very solid and competent impression. -once I have to, or feel in the mood to change rotors on my two rear wheels, I am going to swap to WRF rotors (these aren't cheap either, my WRR rotors are still fine now). -that should enable mounting the Moose Racing guard.

FYI- this rear rotor guard and this rear caliper guard from TM Designworks both fit the Nissin rear caliper and stock rotor on the WRR with no modifications required. More info in this post, if interested. Below is a pic of them installed on my bike.
