Er-1 code

Hello, im new to the forum this is my first post. I have a 2013 WR250R thats showing er-1 on display. Fuel pump will not prime and the sysrem won't let me go into diag. I've checked all kinds of stuff on it and its got me stumped. Any help or direction would be much appreciated.

This is what the service manual states for ER-1:

Try checking all the electrical connections around the steering head, headlight and under gas tank and seat.
