Steering damper

Sooo.... Here's the update since this morning. I've been emailing back and forth with GPR's rep Randy Norman (randy@gprstabilizer.com) and I had brought up the $100 sale they ran last year in December on the V4. Asking him if there was a possibility they would be running it again this December. Well long story short, it'll be in my hands and hopefully on my bike by end of next week.

Now before some of you Scotts fans get all up in arms, I recognize the advantages of the customizable features offered by the Scott damper, but because I am simply looking to reduce headshake while riding at higher speeds, plus it was nearly $200 less, I ordered the GPR. I recognise that some may argue the Scotts is a better product, but in my current (impatient) situation, the price difference spoke loudest.

Will this fit with the big IMS tank??

I'm concerned with the length of the cables, etc.

No good pics but before installing, double check the bearing in the the mount that goes under the triple tree. mine was FUBARed (notchy when you spun it). Had to get a new bearing from Scotts and install it myself.
