I just got done chasing a code 33, drove me nuts
But I'm up and running and I learned stuff...
I'd put in a new plug to start fresh. Test it as well for spark.
Then, from there I'd pull the ignition coil and test the Primary and Secondary leads. If it isn't within spec replace it with a FACTORY unit (I bought 2 new non-factory units that did not test in spec and gave me issues). And before you install the new one check it to see it is in spec.
Primary coil resistance 1.19–1.61 Ω Secondary coil resistance 8.50–11.50 kΩ
While you're getting in to the coil, test the coil harness leads. Orange wire to the ECU and the Red/Whi wire from the start switch to it and to the fuse.
That should get you going. I kinda doubt you will, but if you have to go further, check your starting circuit which includes the start and on/off switch, side stand switch, clutch switch, starter relay.
