What size is the front tire? If the rear was 150, chances are it was a 120 up front. Did you stay with the 120 size or back down to 110?

No PO had a 110 Conti in front.

I am looking to purchase some tires for my WR250x.
What size should i get?

120/70+150/70
120/70+150/60
120/60+156/60

I have searched hard and cant find a definitive answer. Can someone please help me out with some info? Thanks.

First update in a long time, I don't ride nearly enough anymore. Mileage is 46029 I think, so 2000 from my last update.

Took a trip over the Taylor and Top of The World Highways to Dawson, YT from Fairbanks for Dust2Dawson. Put about 1000 miles on the bike over the last few days, mostly rough asphalt and good dirt roads.

The MT21 is toast. Has worked ok so far but overall I'm not impressed.



The 244 has barely worn at all, not sure if I'll keep it or get something different when I replace the rear.

Time for another update. I got through the rest of summer on those tires but got a front pinch flat on my last ride. Decided to replace both this winter and just got them installed today. I’m now running a pair of Shinko 244’s, a 4.60-17 front and 5.60-17 rear. Mileage is 47254.

Just got my WR250X and curious on tires. Been reading up a lot and noticed a lot of different tire sizes. Has anyone run the Shinko 705 on their bike? If so what tire size did you use? Looking on Revzilla and Amazon I am only finding 120/70-17 and 150/70-17 for the Shinko 705, anyone know if this will fit and have any chain rubbing issues or other problems? As far as other tires it looks like the Dunlop GP300 is available in stock sizes and avon replaced this Distanzias with the AV53/54 which are kind of expensive. Looking for something decent that will be fair priced and would prefer some off-road capability like the 705s. I mostly commute back/side roads and stay away from highways and would like to do some trails. Hoping the tire will last longer than 3000 miles. Not many places online talking about this stuff anymore.
