Side stand replacement

Hi all, has anyone replaced the standard steel side stand with an aftermarket alloy item or do you know if a WR-R alloy stand will fit the WR-R? I did see a picture of a WR-R with an alloy side stand in a dirt bike mag but no info was available. cheers.

For clarity: Were you possibly asking if a WRF aluminum sidestand will fit the WRR?

I don't know but am definitely curious!

My kneejerk uninformed guess is: Probably not as there is very little interchange between the two bike models.

Others here know a lot more about WR250F's than me though.

Doubt it would work without being shortened, at least.
