My temp white X

Well.. while waiting for my white plastics, I decided to give my blue plastics a spray job so I can have a feel of it first

but shit happens... IT STORMED!!!!

I decided to leave the sticker there to match the seat, which will be changed to full black soon

It wasn't really well done... but heck, it still looks nice (at least I think so)

The white with black color scheme looks interesting. Having the side plastic piece black like that really breaks up the white which is probably better than if it was all white.

Ya... the idea is to have white/black scheme with some red decorations

very much like the red/white/black yammi you find in Jap websites

Actually the blue breaks it up as well; the stickers/seat colors really make that thing look trippy.

Saw the pics over at TT before I came here. Very nice. I almost think the side covers ought to be white too. Once you get the black seat it will look even better. Are you going to do any graphics on the new white plastics once you get them, or just keep it plain? The red accents will look good once you get it together. Nice work!

Yes I am planning to take 1 set of the plastics to the local sticker boys to design something... perhaps based on the anniversary graphic or one industry graphics

I had to transfer all the foams and sponges from the old plastic

Oh...guh!!! There's a job and a half....figures shit can't be cut and dry. If it was me I'd still get the graphics done. I like to be able to add accents and really make it trick.

Here's some cool options. www.graphicmx.com Go to the Yamaha section and these have an option for the WR250X/R. It also shows the fender and swingarm graphics that come with the kit.

Get some graphics Gary, it's too plain looking like that.

As it is now, it looks like a Police bike. Why don't you get a Singapore P.D. shield sticker and put it on the black sidecover, then a flashing blue light on the bars and you're all set.

I love the black white look. I think i'm going to try something similar on my R with krylon fusion. If i it turns out to look like crap i think i'll order the black plastics. Hope it looks half as good as yours.

Don't worry... with patience, your Krylon plastics will look fantastic!

At least I know my water-pump guard and engine case guard still look like new .. just in black

Headlight - WR-F modified

Seat - Local saddle specialist custom... The "Step" was added on rather than the usual shaving off

The Donut (aka the exhaust slider) - Some homemade deal... it is supposed to protect the exhaust in case of any fall on the exhaust side
