Israeli ebay skid plate - mini review

Goods
-does the job at half the price of some other skid plates
-covers a large area underneath
-colour options: black, blue or silver, goes with the frame on my bike :)
-comes with thick foam tape so no metal on metal contact
-fast postage, arrived in less than a week
-plenty of holes to let the engine breath

Bads
-had to drill out the underneath screw points a little as they didn't line up exactly, a little frustrating but no big deal
-edges are a bit sharp
-the square shape of this plate doesn't mirror the frame, but that should be obvious just looking at it, doesn't bother me

Well it's different that's for sure. I don't think I would put it on my bike but as long as your happy with it that's all that matters.

Yes I'm sure you have some things on your bike I wouldn't put on mine, its all preference

I have one on my WRR and I like it. I do not think it looks as square and bulky as these picture angles show it to be. These are great pictures of the skid plate, but you normally do not see one from these angles. It provides good coverage to the engine cases on both sides. I did add an oil drain plug access hole on mine along with some nylon spacers and carefully selected bolt lengths to keep away from the motor underneath.

Israeli made skid plate? Is it bomb proof? You expecting to hit some IED's?

I also bought one of these, cheap as hell, quick postage, all the way to new zealand

did good job, fitting was a bit of a piss

in future ill probably make my own or just buy a B&B


These ones are a bit too fragile, mine is in absolute ruin now :P nothing but garked up alloy and mega dents.

was a Pretttttttttyyy exceptional ride that weekend thou :) in a renowned rocky as hell place. these WR250r's really can go well :O!
