07- 09 shifter on a 2011?

Im looking to replace my bent stock shift lever with a driven one. Does any one know if one from an older model will work?

They haven't changed since inception. Any year will work.

Except there is no 07 model.

First year was 08.

Don't buy one meant for a WR-250F.
Won't fit.

a YZ one technically works, if you bend it a little, but it really sucks. my stock one broke while doing a supermoto school so I borrowed a spare from a guy with a YZ to finish my school day. I wouldn't recommend putting a YZ one on.

Driven makes a shifter that will fit this bike,; a few riders on here have that setup. Wheeling Cycle can ship it, and Forrest knows what part number the bike has.

If something is marked as 07-09 I stay away. That's usually a sign its for the F model and not R/X. The seller doesn't know what they're talking about.

yeaup driven works well, ^^^^^^ is yours up that high for riding with mx boots????

I don't wear MX boots, just waterproof work boots. I've always liked the shifter tip high on my motos because I often ride in 'tall' rocks.

I had one of the Driven shifters, its a piece of junk. Bent easier than the stock shifter (I know from crashing and having to rebend it back to get it to fit) and on my bike the splines wore out and stripped, causing the shifter to come loose and not work nearly leaving me stranded. Just reorder the stock shifter.
