Shifter replacement good news?!

I was browsing around... and came across this Japanese site

And what surprise me is, in the gear shifter category, they DO have the WR-R/X listed!

The logo on the shift lever pictured there (and the small amount of English text on the page) indicates that the product pictured is from Driven Racing.
I don't see any parts for the WRR listed in their catalog online, but that's an 08 catalog. I sent them an email to ask for more details.

They actually replied my email!

Anyway, they told me the shifter is out of stock and they are waiting for it

So I asked them whether they provide oversea shipping... and I am waiting for the reply...

I've been bugging them for the past 3 months...

Just about 3 weeks ago, I emailed them regarding the shifter again...

and the reply was not surprising at all... Not yet, another 3 weeks

So... I will be shooting them another email tomorrow

So ... if this trend continues ... in 2 weeks ... he will reply that it will be only 1 more week ... which would be 3 weeks from now.

I use a 2007 WR250F aftermarket shift lever.

Did you have to bend it out so it didn't touch the case?

I tried a new Sunline shifter for a WR250F ... and it touched the case.

I use a Tusk Lever from Rock Mountain ATVMC. Part#1030850007 $17.99

Do you have a picture of the shifter fixed to the bike?

I believe many have tried to put the WR-F lever onto the WR-R/X, but failed because of the distance between the case and the lever

Don't remember if I had to bend the shift leaver. See my Canondale (2'' wide x 3.25'' long) foot pegs? I got them at Mid-Ohio (swap meet) in 2005.
