| There is NO aftermarket pipe that is quieter than the stock pipe.
Everything else is louder.
The gytr exhaust should fit the stock header pipe and mounting points perfectly without need to modify anything. Plus - it's the only aftermarket pipe that comes ready to use the Yamaha exhaust guard that comes on the stock pipe.

| Hey Mick, When you look at the yamaha web site for the wr250x click this here yellow text you'll see that gytr is sort of a part of Yamaha. If anything should bolt right on your bike with minimal hassle it should be gytr stuff. trav - there is nothing lower than New Jersey...nothing. _________________ 2008 WR250X Gearing: 13t - 48t Power Commander 5 / PC-V Airbox Door Removed - Flapper glued - AIS removed FmF Q4 Bridgestone Battlax BT-003rs

| Got it... Never considered any other.
Stock guard mount and acceptable performance with very acceptable dBs. Lose the ExUp as well.
Okay... It may be a few more bucks (add cost of the ExUp removal module). I'll give ya that. ~ shrug ~
Go for it....

| Yamaha Sports Plaza had the best price I could find. $345. Got mine from them no problems. It's a good unit...and it's good being able to keep that heat shield. It's not too loud either. Just right. | |

| i bought 1 last night of ebay uk which then puts u onto twiggys cycles through ebay usa had to pay 430dollars for it plus 73dollars shipping to malta which comes to a total of 346euro i am happy with that price, its one of them things you want one so you gotta pay what they ask i didnt have the options of looking around because they wont ship or the shipping price is as much as the part you want , so the pipe will be in malta next week | |

Technically EXUP removal costs nothing. Removing the servo motor for the EXUP only has to cost a few pennies. click me click meBut you don't HAVE to remove servo motor so there really doesn't have to be any cost at all. _________________ 2008 WR250X Gearing: 13t - 48t Power Commander 5 / PC-V Airbox Door Removed - Flapper glued - AIS removed FmF Q4 Bridgestone Battlax BT-003rs

| Mick - you're in Malta?
Mediterranian Sea ?
You need to take and post some pictures of your bike and the area scenery around where you live.
I'm guessing it's flippin' gorgeous. _________________ 2008 WR250X Gearing: 13t - 48t Power Commander 5 / PC-V Airbox Door Removed - Flapper glued - AIS removed FmF Q4 Bridgestone Battlax BT-003rs
