Took apart my GYTR exhaust Empty
PostSubject: Took apart my GYTR exhaust   Took apart my GYTR exhaust EmptyThu Dec 02, 2010 11:28 am

I've been happy with this exhaust, but I've noticed that I've had exhaust leaking from where the piping joins the canister. I took the torx screws out and pulled the piping out with the intention of throwing in some high temp sealant. It looks like I only have packing in about the outer 1/2-2/3 of the canister. I've never dealt with repacking before, just read a little about it. I'm assuming the pipes normally come with packing in the entire canister? Guess I'll throw in some more packing while it's apart. Is it normal for that much packing to be gone with only about 3K miles on the pipe?
