mr-cave´s 2008 wr250x Wr250x10

My wr250x, one week old and "almost" stock except rebuilt plateholder, ais removed, exup disconnected, airboxflap removed, airbox lid drilled with about 20 6mm holes.
CO value at 5.
And the mickey mouse mirrors went off pretty fast!

Incoming... FMF Powercore4, FMF powerbomb and FMF fuelbox.
Renthal sprockets on its way because im tired of that "kekekekeke" sound it does when U flick the clutch for whelies if U dont have the chain tensioned enough....

That silly bar will probably have to go aswell. I guess i will go for a black fatbar instead.

Will post more picks as i do other changes/ mods.

Did you disconnect the exup valve in preperation for the new exhaust? Or did you do that looking for a power boost? I'm curious if you could tell a difference with everything else essentially stock.

I did disconnect the exup in prep for a new exhaust. But i had to take it for a spin just to test.
And the bike felt good.
Aaa... and i also disconnected the o2 sensor when testing. (but i belive that doesnt matter in this case)

Only thing i noticed whas that the can went a little hotter. Because it made noises when i stopped. It has never done that before. (not like this anaway)
So i guess the catalytic converter gets more beaten up now. But isnt that what its for`to burn the unburned fuel. :)

I dont see any exup on cars......

Now everything is installed. The whole FMF Kit.

Im now running it without the airbox lid as i noticed it gave better response on the throttle after installing FMF parts.

my settings: 3,5/ 4,5/ 1,5/ 8,0/ 3,5/ 4,0

Excellent responce and no hesitations and no bumps in powerband.
Pulls easily upp on one wheel in 2nd gear standing on pegs only use throttleblipp.

Disco of the 02 sensor will cause the system to default to full rich due to a complete lack of input from the sensor, you can't really unplug it with no effect, probably the reason for your excessive heat in the exhaust
Cars don't need things like EXUP as they have a very limited rpm range, our bikes need to make power from idle to well over 10,000 rpm, the only other answer is to have the bike adjust cam timing automatically which would be a great improvement but is kind of expensive

mr-cave´s 2008 wr250x Wr250x12

mr-cave´s 2008 wr250x Wr250x13

Some pics taken after mounting the fatbar.

Mounts is from "AIR" and is so low that you need to rise them a bit (aprox 5mm) not to hit the forkbearing nut.

Im pleased with the result so far.
