| They will drill any size and type rim to match any hud, nothing is off the shelf. Every rim in stock is blank, they drill it. They also have all the info on everybodys hubs. http://www.buchananspokes.net/terms/terms.asp | |

| THESE PARTS ARE FOR CONVERTING WRR TO WRX WHEELSOkay, So I'm trying to figure out exactly what would need to be ordered IF you ordered everything OEM, assuming you can lace an WRR Hub to WRX Rim. All additional parts (i.e. Bearings, Seal Covers, etc.) were omitted as I figured you can swap those when changing between wheels. Sorry, sometimes I can get a little OCD. FRONT WHEEL(1) WRX Rim 17x3.00: $236.44 (1) Spoke Set: 3D7-25104-00-00, $32.91 (1) Hub: 3D7-25111-00-00, $82.87 (1) Front Brake Rotor: 3D7-2581T-01-00, $108.39 -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- REAR WHEEL(1) WRX Rim 17x4.00: 94440-17002-00, $275.92 (1) Spoke Set: 3D7-25304-00-00, $38.95 (1) Hub: 3D7-25311-00-00, $118.62 |

- Just an FYI, Motostrano sells Supermoto Conversion Kits for the WRR. LOOKS like pretty good prices on everything they sell. Oh the wish list I could build...
No they don't. Their kits are for the wr250/450F not the WRR. Motostrano has the WR250R listed under their "application" pull down. They have the WR250F as well, so that leads me to believe they are building kits for the R now. I have not contacted them, but the price looks good. Could be another option to the Wheeling package: http://www.motostrano.com/Supermoto-Conversion-Kit-Bare-Bones-p/kit-bones.htm

| Here is a brake relocation bracket that is to work on the wr250r. It took me a month to track this one down.

| Does a X rear wheel fit bolt on to the R ?
For the front wheel the only thing I need to fit a X wheel is the bracket from motostrano ?

| The rear calipers are the same, but you need the relocation bracket for the caliper to make your wr250r into a wr250x. http://www.motostrano.com/Warp-9-Caliper-Relocation-Bracket-p/w9-brat.htm
On their site it says it is for a WR450R (if they haven't fixed it yet), but it is just a typo. There is no WR450R in the United States. Japan has one , but I guess Yamaha doesn't think we deserve one yet.
I ordered the bracket and have converted my R to an X and back to a R again.

I ordered the bracket and have converted my R to an X and back to a R again. I've make some research and you can't just buy this bracket because the front X disk is 298mm... not 320mm. How did you manage to make it works with theses sizes ? We compare both caliper yesterday and they sure are different. you can't interchange the mounting adaptor. This is the X front caliper (R wheels on) This is the R front caliper (X wheels on)

| I am just in this process as well. I ordered a new front master, line, banjo nuts etc. I have the WRX caliper already so I ordered everything else. $230 for it all from the local Yammy dealer. I am using my OEM lever as well as I ordered the Zeta levers for my R setup. I got a set of OEM WRX hubs, sprockets, rotors, etc etc. Everything. So, I will just do a total brake swap and be done. Should only add a few minutes to the job. First change took me 45mins. Hope to get it down to 20-30 after I do it a few times. BTW, I have a WRR, and now a WRX as well. WOOT!
The WRX caliper and Master Cylinder are both larger capacity to take advantage of the larger rotor.

| I see on eBay Warp9 is selling an SM wheel setup for the R that comes with the stock sized front rotor so no bracket is needed. It's also cheaper than the ones they sell that use the big rotor. I may go this route once I save up the cash because I don't need the big rotor. | |

| Hi, I am also looking to buy a set of 17" Warp 9 or DNA's for my new R. Can anyone confirm if it's best to go 5"(will it fit)or keep it at 4.25" on the rear? Thanks | |

| I've read on a couple threads here that the wider rim & tires aren't needed for our lil 250. The contact patch is big enough with the oem rim size, plus the 5" width may cause more problems then it's worth. |
