Taillight Assemby

Anyone done a tail light mod yet? I've got a DRC for a KTM, along with the signal lights. I wanted just a bit of overhang to keep my back from being pelted by rocks.

DRC edge kit with 586 flashers

Looks like the same flashers I have only with smoky lenses.

that's what i did to mine shredak, just got the hack saw out, taped off the wires and good to go.

Just aircraft grade Alum.
I customed the plate illuminator with some zip ties.

Does anyone have a source in the US for the Euro Taillight assembly?


I know there is what looks to be one available on Ebay, but after browsing that sellers actual store I caught a few words that concerned me, and after an email exchange with the seller I found out that it does NOT include the taillight, all you get in that $75 kit is the plate bracket and tag light.

Just get the Edge/DRC kit (with 601 flashers) from forum sponsor Wheeling Cycle Supply. You won't be dissappointed.

I have a few buddies with the DRC kit.. there is a MAJOR difference in brake light brightness between the big ass stock tail light and the DRC, I haven't seen the stock Euro tail light, but it can't(?) be as dim as the DRC. I'd just like to try another option if I can.

Good point. It isn't as bright as stock, but I do like to live on the *edge*
