Rotopax-1 or 2 gallon/any problems?

Hi, i'm wondering how a rear fender mounted Rotopax will hold up over time and with dropping the bike? Also,anyone have two 1 gallons stacked on their rear rack? Does the weight sit well? Is your fender damaged? cheers

I have a 1 gallon Rotopax and I have it mounted on my rear fender rack. These things are SUPER tough!! Ive endo'ed my bike over right onto some rocks and it did nick it up a little, but they are very thick and substantial. Much more than just a regular gas can. Not super thrilled with the filler neck as mine has already broken the little internal spring after only a few uses. But, its not neccessary and I can still fill up the tank without it.

cool -go to know- but i wonder if 2 gallons [12 pounds] way out on the rear would make the bike handling squirrley? good to know i have a cheaper alternative to a 3 gallon tank though

I've carried more weight than 2 gallons of gas and ridden some tough stuff and never noticed it back there. I say go for it.
