PostSubject: Very nice modifications to your WR   Blackdog's WRR build - Page 2 EmptyThu Apr 25, 2013 11:03 pm

The additions to your WR are very similar to what I have been doing on my 2013. I'm specifically interested in your Highway Dirt Bike guards and bar. Since you have lived with your bike now for about a year, is there anything you would do differently or are you happy with it as is? Thanks for any input - again, very nice bike.

I put 3600 miles on the stock TrailWings so it was time to put some serious rubber on the bike. After some research I decided on Michelin T63's. The TrailWings did ok, I can't complain but I plan on some serious off road events this year.

I'll give you a full report after I address a small issue I'm having.

I'll be replacing the 1gal RotoPax for the 1.75 model. Keep in mind you can get RotoPax stuff for a discount on ADVRider.

Nice build you should post some of your photos in the luggage section, it has a sticky. I am sure people would like to know how the giant loop and wolfman luggage play nice together.

Blackdog's WRR build - Page 2 Wr250r%20006-LQuite an inspiration for us new WR250R owners.  Mine came with much of what you've done.  I'm really enjoying this bike.   thumb

Blairsville, Ga. How's the riding around Suches these days? I'll be down to check out the new TWO of Suches in May. NGa is my favorite place on earth to ride. You are lucky to live there!

The new Two Wheels of Suches (TWoS) is alive and well and in business, and most of the Forest Service roads are open. A great place to live and ride and my 250 is perfectly suited.
