Dunlop d908rr tires

Has anybody tried to fit Dunlop d908 rr tires on? They look pretty killer ... I realize they are made for larger bikes but I would love to try these...

...if they fit, yes, they are killer, as in STIFF sidewalls. These are rallye bike tires made for big punishment on big(ger) bikes.
Unless you don't mind a rough ride and do 90% dirt I'd stear clear from the. D606 probably be better.
I had the 908rr's on my KTM 950A and they where awesome offroad, but pretty nasty on the street.
The rear was O.K. but the front was on the bike for about 200 miles before I tossed it.

Thanks for the info! I think I will put the D606s back on again... I got about 6000 km out of them... The Kenda Trackmasters Im running will get me only about 2000ks and are scary in the wet or mud..

How are those D606's on the street and trails?
Lot's of bigger dualsport bike guys use them...
