So... for those of you that want to install your own seat kit like I did, rest assured it's easy as hell.

There are a few things you should know however if you intend to save some bucks and use a harbor freight staple gun.

1) The 18ga stapler won't shoot staples short enough to not poke through the seat pan (5/8" minimum length)

2) The 20ga stapler is NEARLY impossible to find staples for. In fact the 20ga, wide crown, 3/8" length staples at harbor freight don't even fit their stapler leaving you only with 5/8" or 1" options, which probably also are too wide to fit their own gun.

I took some measurements and did some guess work in the hand stapler isle at the hardware store and came up with the following which ran through the stapler misfire and jam free for my install, saved me a few bucks, and were closer to the stock length (stock was roughly 3/16" these are 1/4".

I have a Craftsman pneumatic but it shoots 1/2" width staples which can be hard to find.

The harbor freight 20 ga staples were 1/2" so you might take a look at those.

This gun takes a 27/64" apparently.

The stapler was $19.99, think the correct staples were around $3.50 for x1000

I wish I saw this thread before. I made several trips to Home Depot and ended up paying an upholstery shop $30.

It's good to see that T-50 staples work! I have a bunch of them for my manual staplers. Just ordered the Seat Concepts yesterday, need to make the run to Harbor Freight.

The HB stapler described above is the one recommended by SC.
Cheap and works great.
Forget hand or electric staplers, just not enough power.
