Aaaannnnnnddddd!!!! We have a winner on the test!
I didn't even notice that until I posted it and saw that, according to the chart, the smaller my countersprocket size, the higher the speeds.
Hmmmmmm... is it just a backwards mis-labelling of the Y-axis on the chart, or is the whole thing hooped data-wise? Where's The Hermit when you need him?
When I get some time, I'll go back and run those again and see if this is a persistent bug or if it was just a one time weirdness.

i'm running the 12/43....it really helped, but it's still geared too high.
For me, I suspect 13/46 or 47 might be my best case scenario - which always leaves the possibility of throwing on a 12 tooth if necessary. I don't do a lot of slow speed plonking or ugly climbs, so just a little improvement on that 1st gear should be fine.
Right now, I'll just run the stock setup until it is time to replace it. Then we'll see if I want to go the ultimate route with Sidewinder stuff, or keep some coin in my pocket and choose something a little less spendy.
