| Thanks!
I bought the wheels online from a dealer in Denver. They had an employee buy the wheels/brakes/tires for his WR and forget to inventory them. When the dealer found them hiding in the back room they fired him and put them up for sale. I got a great deal on them. Brakes wheels and tires for less than the wheels retail for.
The distributor and dealer swear they are for this WR250R/X but I disagree. They did not bolt up and were a pain in the ass to fit to this bike.
I'm going to buy a 16mm Brembo radial master cylinder soon. It's next on my list of things to buy.

| Having had several RZ350s in the past and being a current owner of a WRX I am really excited about your build. Congrats, she looks to be coming together nicely. | |

| I finished welding the exhaust chambers. I also shaved off all the extra brackets from the rear subframe. The subframe looks nice and clean. I'm not the proudest of the exhaust. It's not bad but with all the cutting, bending testing, tacking, rebending, tacking, welding etc. it doesn't look as pretty. That's ok though. That's what paint is for. lol I also cut and bent in the muffler brackets so the mufflers go straight back like they should. It's coming along! I also ordered a wiring harness for a shee. A SV650 rear LED taillight (I love the way the two vertical strips look), voltage regulator, shee clutch cable and four small round LED amber lights for blinkers. SHould be here next week. The only fabrication I have left is to get a radiator made. Once that is done it is all wiring, cables, brake lines, etc to do. Little time consuming things but LITTLE things! I'm getting really excited. I have the rear brake on now so I pushed it up a hill a few nights ago and rode it down. Feels like a big downhill mountain bike, not a motorcycle. :fork IMG_5386 IMG_5380 IMG_5377 IMG_5381 | |

| Nice bike bud. Gonna be a beast. You may have to ride on the front tire to keep it on the ground :) one thought I had though is if the pipes are gonna hit the ground if you use all the travel of the bike. Just a thought to consider. | |

| Yeah.
I'm working on a skid plate for the chambers and will reduce the travel.

| Still looks nice and clean from the side But get behind it and there is a fully functioning (and bright!) LED taillight and turn signals. I also bought and installed a clutch cable for a Banshee that is 2" longer than stock. | |

| I'm done with the making mounts for all the electronics in the subframe. Made a little battery holder. Blacked out the non-essential parts of the taillight to accentuate the twin strips. Parallel twin, get it? Some subframe shots with all the new brackets welded in place. And with everything mounted And finally you can see the blacked out taillight and what it looks like with a license plate | |

| I'm so damn close! I can almost smell the smoke! I got the SV 650 radiator on above the cradle today. I'm surprised to say that I am going to lose a couple degrees of steering lock with this rad setup. I thought it would be well out of the way but it touches the triple trees every so slightly at full lock. Oh well. When I get rich again I'll have two skinny custom rads made to sit further back beside the engine in the shrouds. This will do for now though. I'm getting tired of spending money on this bike. To be honest, I'm tired of working on it. I just want to ride it as I'm sooooooo damn close! Still a bit of work as I want to add some mounts for the shrouds to the radiator mounts but the rads are solid and in place. Tomorrow I am going to make a mount for the Trailtech Vapor, and modify the shifter and brake pedals. IMG_9571 IMG_9572 IMG_9601 IMG_9598 IMG_9608 | |

| Did you cut the entire rear half of the front fender off to make room for radiator?

| You gonna fashion some kind of radiator guard since it's going to be in direct assault from most things coming off front tire? _________________ 2008 WR250X Gearing: 13t - 48t Power Commander 5 / PC-V Airbox Door Removed - Flapper glued - AIS removed FmF Q4 Bridgestone Battlax BT-003rs

| Yep, I have some perforated aluminum laying around the shop somewhere. The SV rad is perfect for that as it has two little threaded holes on each side for me to wrap the guard around and bolt on. | |

| A can of Ford Light Blue powder arrived so I can start powdercoating some accent bits as I go. Here is the official final checklist. I racked my brain and this is all I can think of that is left to do on the bike. | |
