Here is a fully functioning throttle and a not quite bled yet Brembo full radial brake system with stainless lines!

The front brake works now. The front sprocket is powdercoated the Ford Light Blue. The chain is on. The tranny is full of fluid. The radiator has a few pieces of hoses being fitted to it but you can't see it in this photo.
Those are a prop from a Snap On truck. We thought they would look cool in the shop so my friend bought a new toolbox so the snap on salesman would throw those in on the deal.
I've been powdercoating a few things in the Ford Light Blue.
I also did the cap and bottoms of the carb.
I sandblasted the carb body and will mask it off and powdercoat it semi-flat tomorrow. Then I can jet and rebuild the carbs.
You can also see the ohmmeter that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that wiring work is being done.

Entering the home stretch. I'm about to leave the shop to go find a suitable overflow tank. If I find one the cooling system wil be fully operational. It has what I believe to be a nice, rich, baseline jets in the carbs, carbs are rebuilt. I made a bracket to hold the speedo sensor. It looks better and awesome in person. Phone flash ruins everything, then without it phone camera picks up zero detail. I'll get some real pics later this weekend. The wiring is getting close. If all goes well it should be running in time to celebrate two stroke Tuesday on Twitter. Wish me luck!

I'm not sure on the brake part number, I can't find the box at the moment.
It's the Brembo radial master cylinder 16x18 w/ standard lever. Nothing special or rare. Readily available at any Brembo dealer.

Well my brother is taking his time and then some on the wiring but it is coming along.
Here is the retina burning Baja Designs healdight.
and the SV650 tail.
I don't have any of the turn signals on yet.
I fixed the leaky clutch cover with a new clutch cover so all is well there. I also filled up the Radiator. I wish my excitement to finish this NOW would rub off on my brother. Oh well. It's supposed to be chilly this weekend so I missed this season anyway.

YZR389X in HDR
It's sort of done-ish. Obviously not paint and powdercoat but the fabrication, wiring, plumbing, etc. is all done. El fin! I spent the day double checking everything! Tomorrow, my brother is bringing a second set of eyes to double check all the wiring on the bike. So maybe at this time tomorrow I will be uploading a video of the bike running. Fingers crossed ladies.

Just looking back at the progress. This is what showed up at my house a year and four months ago.
Bike's come a long way since then! The next one will go faster, I promise!

Still lots of jetting work and a little bugs to be worked out before giving her the full beans.
Here is a video of the first take off though to tide you over.

Here is a GoPro vid from today.
So far I am very pleased with how well the bike rides straight out of the box. It feels like a proper motorcycle and not a backyard special.
