.... along with the caliper and MS? Suspect

I'm thinking of going that direction since I like this bike for 99.99999999 % street riding.

I'd be afraid to check prices for new parts. dddog

Around $850 for complete wheel set, no tires. I've seen complete with
real good tires $1250. Check E-Bay.

Warp9 seems like to best deal to me. If you buy actual X wheels you will need all the brake stuff to go with it. If you go with Warp9 you can either get the bigger rotor and caliper adapter or stock rotor that is a direct bolt up. I plan to buy Warp9 wheels over winter. WRX wheels are pricey plus you then need to buy a new caliper, master cylinder, etc.

When riding my R with stock wheels/rotors/pads/tires on the road, it feels like there isn't enough bite with the front brake. Or maybe I'm just chicken to lock up the fronts (which I've nervously done a few times on broken pavement already)

Ceteris paribus, a change to sticky SM tires will highlight that braking deficiency. I don't know what others have done to mitigate that... maybe SS lines and fluid?

Yeah, I'd like the stronger front brake for sure. I'll keep my eyes open for a swap deal.

I found a set of OEM WRX rims, sprocket, rotors , rubber with front caliper for $700US. $100US for shipping plus $220 for the front master, line etc. So $1050ish for the whole deal.
