hey guys, i just acquired a power core 4 and installed it. when i ride or rev the bike i get a weird tinny sound kinda reminds me of a kazzoo or like if you held a piece of tin foil in front of the exhaust. any ideas what it could be ? it is very noticeable without the spark arrestor in and only slightly noticeable with it in

thanks in advance
Luke

Brand new PC4, or used?

Stock header?

Did you get/use the transition piece properly from header to pipe?

If used, it might be needing a replacement of the packing inside muffler.

(just my initial thoughts)

whoa haha that looked pretty messed up. i guess i could always open her up and see what it looks like on the inside. the seller seems to think the sound is caused by not using enough silicone when i installed it so im going to check that as well

I used no silicone, or any sealant at all when I installed my FmF Q4 onto my stock header.

No strange tin can sound here.

I've had the pipe apart and too, did not use sealant (pc4 + powerbomb). I did use sealant on the muffler when I repacked it.
