My 2012 wr250r to x conversion

Well im slowly trying to turn it into an x, but will still have the benefit of having r tires/wheels,I went all black(spokes,nipples,hubs,sprocket) definitely more peppy and handles very nice, a lot more thumbs up everywhere I go now.
Black plastics with custom graphics, powermadd guards, black evo bars, DRC tail light delete/turn signals and z carbon frame guards coming next.
Hard to tell int he pics but its crazy how much wider the rims are on the supermoto setup.

Nice one. Similar to what I did.
In case you like to get your steering corrected and neutral, shorten rear shock length as much as possible. That does the trick when converting from enduro setup, and supermoto riding will be all fun.

Mate that looks awesome. Reminds me of the black WR250X I used to own. I ran the white side covers though. Nice pipe too. What brand/model is the pipe???

Where did you get the all black seat cover?

cant remember the online store but its a factory effex seat cover

So I've already taken the time to follow your threads and see what you've done to the bike and see you say those are custom graphics; might you be able to direct me to who did them for you? I want something similar on my 2010 X but nothing too flashy - you got it spot on! Very similar it appears to the UK graphics.

they are ebay mirrors just search bar end mirrors on ebay, my other exhaust thread I believe has them and how to fit them on.
picked up a pit bike to run around with my daughter, for the price you cant beat it, such a blast!



there pretty cool because they can fit right in the back of my wife's tahoe or I use the hitch rack on my rubicon and put hers in the back of the jeep

Is your helmet just sitting on the rear rack or do you have some sort of helmet lock?  I just ordered that same rack from ebay.

its just strapped through the rack

What helmet is it? I like that the visor lifts all the way out of your field of view!

Lol Glad yours is quiet. Mine isn't at all....my head must be shaped funny lol Love the bike though! been wanting to get plack plastics for mine.

couple more updates, New flat lands radiator guard powder coated gloss black and since I was going to the powder coaters I just went ahead and peeled the plasti dip off the skid and got it powder coated textured black, virtually no different in look this will definitely hold up in the long run. Also NOT wr related but changing up the crf a bit as well, always wanted to have a white wr with black wheels for off road and an all black wr with black wheels for on road but the crf will have to do for now, which actually is turning out to be really decent bike for off roading in my opinion.



Have to return the dna wheels and ordered warp 9's instead should be here in 2 weeks, as the DNA's wont fit, wrong hub size etc.. but they sent them anyways to see if they would. What a shame because they are an amazing looking wheel and the price was excellent!

Thanks, its a acerbis front fender. a few more updated pics of the crf as well. My buddy also has the same fender on his supermoto crf.
