| Well, I went to purchase insurance, but they require registration for some reason. But registration requires my insurance. So it's a bit of a paradox hahaha. I will call the insurance folk come Monday to see what they can do. | |

| Thanks guys!
It's actually just vinyl [Avery vinyl off eBay]. I did a sloppy job on the tail [I didn't have a heatgun at the time] and the fender [holy crap compound curves]. I see this as my test run, as the vinyl I purchased is fairly low-quality and is not meant to last too long. Next time I go to wrap I will probably look for wrap-specific vinyl with perforations or air escape lines.

| you can get vinyl at places that wrap cars or make signs. i used to wrap bicycle frames and using a heat gun is primo! i did it once using a couple bic lighters. | |

| I just noticed. What's the deal with that chain guide ABOVE the swing arm? What's that doing for you? | |

True true, but in my experience they've always overcharged [even for scraps they can't use!] - gatorfan wrote:

It's just a sheet of aluminum to replace the original plastic chain cover. The previous owner put it there, I'm not so sure if it will be much help, but I suppose it's better than nothing!
