Gas question

So when my gas light comes on, we get a number next to it that's always changing, what does that mean? Lol I don't have a manual for this bike yet

There's a "low fuel odometer" that automatically starts once the light comes on.

Is that what you mean?

Tells you how far you have ridden since the light came on.

Oh okay, yeah one the light popped on it was like 1.0 then after riding maybe a mile it was at 2.8 then like 3 something. Maybe it's telling me how much further I can go before completely empty

It says Fx.xx right.

It is telling you how far you have gone since the low fuel light turned on.
