| I'm about to regear my new-to-me WR and I am trying to decide which speedometer calibrator to use. I don't care too much about price, but I am interested in ease of use and functionality. Installation seems fairly straightforward and common to both units. Are there any attributes that make one preferable over the other?
I have searched and could not find the info I want.

| I have only used the 12oclock labs one. It takes about 1min to reprogram, including removing the seat. Super easy and straight forward. | |

| so as far as I understand with the 120'clock labs speedo healer you can correct either your odometer or your speedo.is there a way to correct both ? | |

No, the relationship between the speedometer and the odometer is fixed, and not accurate. I have installed the SpeedoDRD and calibrated my speedometer. The odometer is about 9% low. I can live with that.

| I was under the impression that these "tools" modify the the signal from the speed sensor. This should affect the speedometer and odometer in the same way.
I believe the speedohealer has two calibrations that you can recall. This would be a nice feature for anyone with two sets of wheels or two sprockets etc.
Has anyone used both of them? Or the speedohealer? I'd appreciate any feedback as I too am looking for one of these.

I don't know why, but it's stupid.

so you can't correct both the speedo and the odometer it has to be one or the other, correct?

If knowing exact distance traveled is a higher concern - fix the odometer. If you absolutely HAVE to know both - buy a GPS. Most people that ride on the street are far more concerned with speeding tickets and the like. The odometer being slightly off is of no concern what-so-ever. _________________ 2008 WR250X Gearing: 13t - 48t Power Commander 5 / PC-V Airbox Door Removed - Flapper glued - AIS removed FmF Q4 Bridgestone Battlax BT-003rs

| I have a SpeedoHealer brand. It is pretty simple to use, but to be honest I haven't messed with it since I bought the bike. I should recalibrate my speed since changing rear tires, but I've been too lazy... It has a button that you push to change the calibration %. That's it. I think it has a few memory settings too, so you can quickly switch between wheel sets. Or just remember what value each wheel set should be... | |
