| To date, only two Tech Bulletins have been issued on the WR250R/X. The first one was for a correction to the first edition factory service manual wiring diagram. This is the correct labeling for the wiring diagram.... And the other bulletin deals with an updated chain adjustment procedure to quiet the slap noise we have all heard and complained about. I always try to peek at the Yamaha site once in a while and I will update this thread if any new Tech Bulletins are issued. | |

| Can you tell me what color wire is the power wire for the headlight? Can't quite tell from the schematic. I think it's green but not sure. | |

| Green is low beam and yellow is high beam. If you right click on the diagram above and save it to your desktop it is much larger and easier to read. | |

| Looks like this thread may soon get pulled. I just read the "rules" for new members about posting copyrighted stuff. So get it while you can guys and gals. | |

| Mark, upload it to a file hosting site and people can PM you for it. That way it isn't out in the open. _________________ A wolf's voice echoed down the mountain 'Share the bounty of the hunt with your brothers and sisters, and forever be strong and free.' | |

I don't need to do that. The info is stored on my own web site. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything. It hasn't been taken down yet, but maybe that's because of the way I posted the links. And ya, anyone can PM me for them if they need them.

| In this case, I don't think the copyright thing will be an issue. Yamaha has released it for public consumption and you aren't making money off of distributing it. If anything, it's getting the word out and will be saving them some grief compared to someone using the old diagram, messing something up and going after Yamy. | |

No. I said the green wire was for the low beam and the yellow wire was for the high beam. What blue wire are you talking about? I am talking about the wires going directly into the headlight. There are three wires on the back of the headlight, green, yellow, and black for ground. Are you talking about the switch? The blue wire is the power feed from the relay to the high/low beam switch.

| I was following the schematic to see what was powering the high and low beam and I saw the blue wire. OK, I see now it powers the switch. Sorry to bother you. Thanks for all your help. | |

I had to label it myself. The factory one was mislabeled in the manual and I got tired of flipping pages to see what's what anyhow, so I made my own diagram. Thought I'd share.
