Any idea on how to switch odometer from kilometers to miles?

Any idea on how to switch the odometer over from kilometers to miles. Can someone walk me through this? The owner's manual doesn't give any info on this.

according to the service manual.....
To switch the speedometer and odometer/
tripmeter displays between kilometers and
miles, press the "select 2" button until the
display changes after the main switch is turned
to ON

when i copied and pasted that paragraph into here...there is a difference in the font size,so my original message looked like this...

i accidentally took out the "select 2" part of it when i edited the first post
