All of that before I ever even started her!

I have a seat concepts full low seat on order, cause I did 290 miles over the weekend and my tailbone felt everyone of them lol.
If I still have the funds towards the end of the month I will probably order a number plate bag and the IMS 3.1 tank.

Thanks ya'll. I agree, I am going to be getting her dirty this weekend at a farm where a friend tests his Ultra 4 race buggy so wish me luck! I managed to climb about 10 stairs in one shot at a 4x4 shop the other night first try and didn't bust my butt so lol.

With all due respect... take those seal savers off and toss them in the garbage. I had a set installed... thinking they were going to keep mud/sand out and they only trapped it worse. Unless you plan on taking them off every ride and cleaning you are doing yourself a disfavor.

Thanks for the advice Caldsy, I think I want to read a little more about them and get a few more opinions but I see how that could trap sand and mud, I am beyond new to offroad stuff so thanks.

Anyone else have anything to say about seal savers?

I was in the same exact boat as you Banky. New to dirt... came off an 06 R6 that I had for 6 years and 30 000kms. A few prominent guys on this forum told me to take them off. But please, don't just listen to me. I'm sure others will chime in soon enough. Cheers and enjoy your new Toy. DIRT IS SO MUCH BETTER THEN PAVEMENT

I use them. Never noticed any wear or sand in them.

Got her a little dirty last night and omg i haven't had that much fun on a bike since I learned to wheelie......

But they don't come in the right size.

I had seal savers on one bike I bought used, they filled up with mud all the time, I had to pull them up and wash under them after every ride, they did more harm than good on muddy trails which is all I have to ride on. They do work well in dry sandy areas tho, they keep the wheel from spraying sand on the fork leg pitting the chrome over time.

Been a little overzealous with my calculations, I am at 540 miles as of this morning lol I'm changing the oil on it saturday.

Good idea, I changed my oil twice in the first 1000 miles, then about every 2000 after, its cheep and easy.

are those Chery trees in the background? The blooms are beautiful!

No not cherry blossom trees, Im pretty sure they are dogwoods. But I could be wrong.

I change the oil when I feel as though it's not as easy to change gears... normally around the 2000 - 3000 kms interval. takes about 10 minutes start to finish for an oil change (that includes popping a beer open and cleaning up the mess).
