Charcoal Canister Removal Finished - Photos

This is a well covered post in at least three forums, none of which that I found, have pictures.  For me this is critical as I am not an expert in mechanics, but happy to learn and apply what I learn.  

My need for removal is similar to most, I bought the Flatland Racing Skid Plate and my need for the plate is greater than my concern for emissions in this instance.  With that said I would like feedback on if this is an acceptable solution.  The filter at the end of the vent tube (canister in line) will be replaced when I find a better fit/solution.  The vacuum cap was straight forward.
