Hand Guards

I'm using the GYTR flag MX hand guards, worked well enough for me this weekend as I didn't bend any of my controls and let me easily pull the branches out from between the lever and the guard when I was no-roading. Keep my hands fairly dry in the rain with the vents plugged, but flow air well with the plugs out. You can convert them to a wrap-around style too if you buy the piece from Yamaha.

Update on the Acerbis Rally Pros - to be honest, I'm not terribly impressed w/ them. Great at deflecting branches/trees/small children. However, if you take any falls in really gnarly/rocky terrain, it seems like they bend pretty harshly about half the time. Kind of a PITA to have to rip them off trail-side to re-bend because they're bent so badly I can't fit my hand between them and the grip

Anyway, I think for the $$ they'd use thicker, or a stiffer grade, of aluminum. Will look elsewhere if these really tick me off over the long run...
