Setting sag? Empty
PostSubject: Setting sag?   Setting sag? EmptySun Jul 22, 2012 8:57 pm

So, I was talking to some guys about my bike.

They said when I bought it new from the dealer they should have adjusted the sag and race sag for me there at the shop. This never happened, should it have? Is setting sag a requirement on a wr250r? Thanks

I don't think most shops would set the rear suspension sag for you unless you insisted on it, so don't feel bad about it.

Setting the rear suspension sag is quite important, though, including a WR-250R.
I set mine a 3.5 inches.

Not a bad how to. It's from a two stroke site but the basics are the same for our bikes.

There are many good sites explaining how to set up sag, but that one at twostrokemotocross.com isn't one of them. It is just plain wrong!
