Price check!

2008 Yamaha WR250R bought New in 2010 Excellent Condition 1,191 miles for $3,999. Is that a good price? I know the 08 have some fuel pump problems. Used to have a KLR and would like to get something a little more trail friendly.

Depends on your area. Here near Pittsburgh, 08's go for around $3000-3500. So in this area that would be a little high. If it's at a dealer that is common, if it's a private owner I would try to talk the seller down a little.

I have an '08 I bought in February with 189 miles on it for $3000 (private owner, he was asking $3500 and I offered $3000 and he took it). I have put a little over 3000 miles on it since then and so far so good with my pump.

Thanks for the info. Based on its the only one I've seen for sale in the area I might see how far he will bend. But its listed for 3750 retail according to NADA and it has low miles.

Seems high. $3,200 is a more realistic value IMO.
