High output headlight bulb issues? Empty
PostSubject: High output headlight bulb issues?   High output headlight bulb issues? EmptyFri Jan 04, 2013 4:01 am

Hi, I have just fitted a new headlight bulb (Osram Nightbreaker plus 60/55w) that claims to have the light output of a 150/130w on some sites. They have got some real good reviews here is blighty.

My concern is it seems to put out quite a lot of heat, will the plastic lens etc be OK on my WR? Do I risk melting it?

May be a bit daft question, as if its only drawing 60/55w worth of current, its probably not hotter than standard?

Cheers!

Havent tried that one but I had a 55 wat HID in for a while. It cooked off some of the reflector coating.
