FMF programmer water resistant? Empty

Waiting on a FMF programmer to arrive and thinking about mounting options. I would like it up front on the handlebars but I am concerned about rain and washings getting it goofed up. Should that be an issue?

Pretty sure lots of people have the programmer mounted on handle bars.

Never heard of one going south due to water/weather.

If you're really concerned though, mount it under the seat on top of the airbox.

Mine currently resides on the handlebars with cable ties. It's been through some light rain, but not a torrential downpour or anything. I think they are supposed to be water resistant.
