OTD Price - 2014 WR250R

Hi,

Looking to see what folks have paid OTD for a new model and what I should target. I tried searching (plus internet search) but not coming up with what I need. I'm in Northern California if that matters.

How is $6,500 OTD (includes tax, title, license and document fee) on a new 2014 WR250R?

That's a decent price. You won't do much better unless you go preowned.

I'm in PA and the OTD I'm looking at for a '14 is like 7200. I may go for a leftover though, in an effort to save a few bucks.

I think that is a good price for California!

I bought my 2012 in 12 for $7000 OTD in Southern California

Crazy. Times have certainly changed. Bought my '09 new in '11 and paid like $5,200 OTD.

That's a little different. You bought a leftover model that was two years old already. New yes, but still two years leftover. I paid $6,500 for my new '09 FZ1 in '11.

Very true. Was more commenting on this relative to the fact that they're essentially the same, unchanged bike.

Best price I can get is $7600 unrego'd , thats in Sydney BTW...

I paid $4,600 + tax (6%) for a new 2008 in 2009. I paid $5819 + tax for a new 2013 a few months ago. Look for a high volume dealer online or wait and pounce on a slightly used bike. Good luck.

If your bike had 3 miles on it then I might have been the one to put the miles on her. She was a good little machine and the deciding factor on me picking up a used one I found closer to home.

No, this one had just 1 mile on it. But it now has 350 miles!

First post (Hello) - I've been on the hunt for a decent deal on a WRR '10 or newer through Craiglist and dealers.... so far the deals here in the WA area have not been the greatest... nothing like what i'm seeing here. I've talked with ~10 dealers so far.

FYI I was able to get a 2014 for 6650 out the door here in WA state... Not too bad considering 9.5% tax and fees etc.

I got my 2011 WR from Columbia Motorsport's in Hood River for $6,000. Try them.

Brand new 2014 WR250R in Honeybrook, Pa $7400 out the door tagged. Probably should have paid about $500 less but the bike bug had bitten me!    

Ultimately these are all just numbers on a page. You can't put a price on that stupid grin from ear to ear you get when riding these little fun machines.. That's how I look at it at least..

If you're looking for new, Smokey Point Cycle Barn has a new '13 for $5,589 and I-90 Motorsports has a new '13 for $5,690. Those are great prices for new.

Thanks for the heads up - not sure if you saw my previous post I got a 14 for 6650 out.
