250x front wheel on r

Done a bit of research but can find a definitive answer. I know a x rear wheel bolts right up to r. What about the front? From what I've read the rotor is bigger so won't work and the r rotor won't bolt up. Is there a bracket for this or something? Wheels are from an 08 x going onto a 2012r.

You have two options. You can buy supermoto wheels from Warp9 that include smaller rotors to fit your R brake caliper (they are bolt-on) or you can get X wheels and get an X wheel conversion kit that will allow you to use the larger 320mm rotor. Obviously it's cheaper to go with the Warp9s if your'e OK with the stock R rotor.

You can just purchace the standard WRR size rotor from warp 9. It will bolt directly to your WRX hub as they use only the one bolt pattern on their hubs - which is the WRR pattern. Also you can option either floating or fixed style rotor from warp 9. You would need to ask for the floating disc rotor to keep as per factory WRR.

So basically you can simply obtain that rotor from them to be able to retain a direct bolt up whilst retaining all your other standard WRR components. Easy.
