I have been trying to find a used Sargent seat for my R and, finally, gave up.

So, I ordered one today for $332.96 shipped.

Got tired of riding the "plank" on long trips. cry

I have a Sargent on my FZ1 and love it. cheers

Build quality is just as good as the seat on  my FZ1. thumb

The seat is narrow up front for standing on the sigle trails, but nice and wide in the back for long trips on the road.  Seat is firm, but works great for many hours in the saddle.

Sargent seats are "pricey", but if you are considering long distant rides, there is not much that compares. IMHO

The seat looks an inch or so lower than stock. Is that the case?

Thanks,

Dave

Negative.

Both seats are 35.7" above the ground.
