Anyone fitted a GL Coyote and Rotopax tank at the same time? I need the range and gear and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I've got the Scagg's rack, but I don't think it makes that much of a difference. Photo's would be appreciated.

I have the same rack & the Wolfman harness which is very similar to the GL I had on my other bike. The GL will be pretty far forward limiting how far you can get your weight back for technical down hills or steps IMHO. What I was looking at was using longer spacers & bolts for the rack so the harness could slide back under the front part of the rack without the top bag. In fact Jarret send me a set I haven't installed yet. When I was fitting things I was using a 1.75 gallon rotopax.

That's what I thought. Are you pushed right up into the tank that it's uncomfortable to ride for any length of time, or just when it starts to get a little technical?

I never ran it that way. I'm getting ready for a big trip & was thinking about it but didn't like the fit. I'm going to run the Wolf man large rollie on top of the 1 gal. I'll need straps a bit longer than they come with but it'll be secure & hold my tools. tubes & a layer of clothing/winter gloves.

I like using Rok Straps to secure my Wolfman over my RotoPax. Either the 1" or even the 1/2" wide will work.
