Quick question, searched first but this did not come up
This is my first experience with a non spin on oil filter.
Is it required to change the O- rings for the oil filter housing at every oil change?
also torque specs for the bolts pleeez
Thanks in advance

You dont need to change the O rings unless you rip/mess them up, they should last the life of the bike.

Those bolts are small and easy to strip, I put them in with a nut driver so I cant over torque them and strip them, if you use a ratchet go very easy on em.

Do NOT use torque wrench on oil filter cover bolts.

Finger tight. Give about 1/4 turn with wrench.

Expect a few drips. Then all should be good.

We've all broken one of those damn bolts. Be very careful.

Exactly what I did,,maybe a hair more than a 1/4 turn.... took her around the block, wiped the residuals.. went for a short ride after dinner.. checked and bone dry thumb
so after the fact... I decided to look at the owners manual, actually states to change the O-rings and torque em down to 7#
