Had the stator recall done on a '09 WR250X and a '10WR250X at the local dealer. He already had both stators in stock and was familiar with the recall. Took a day each. The must have to drain oil because it looked like both bikes came back with a fresh fill of "something". I drained the oil when I got home are refilled to Rotella T6 5w40 just so I knew what I had.
Mechanic said the new stator looked different than the old stator, for what it is worth. There was no charge and no documentation required from me. All they did was check the VIN # on the bike.
