I did a search, but haven't found any hits here. Anyone using a No Toil filter on their WRR/X? I see one for sale on RMATV http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/productDetail.do?navType=type&webTypeId=4&navTitle=Filters&webCatId=27&keyword=NO-TOIL&prodFamilyId=23809#vehicleSelect.

I've read some good things about No Toil filters, cleaner and oil, and I really like the fact that it's safe(er) for the environment.

So, any thoughts?

I have one with the different cage and all. It's nice but I don't use the no-toil fluids on it. No Toil filter 986936

Well, I have nothing against the stock filter, but I like the idea of this No Toil. I haven't read anything negative about their filter or their cleaner or oil, I just wasn't sure how it'd fit and work on the WR. Perhaps I'll just try and see :)

I use No Toil oil and cleaner on my stock filter. I don't think the No Toil filter is any better than the stock filter. YMMV

I'm pretty sure the filter itself prob isn't extremely different but the setup I have has a much less restrictive cage for it. (no screen etc.)

I use it on my KLR and plan to on my WR. Mine came with the K&M but I may change or at the least use the notoil on the K&M.
I have read a few bad reviews on the K&M and wouldn't have bought it myself.
Maybe I'll sell it?

I think you mean K&N?

I have a K&N on my V-Strom and I think it's fine. But yes, their filters get mixed reviews. I think as long as you keep it oiled properly, it's not a bad product. But filter discussions get out of hand as quickly as oil or chain tension discussion No Toil filter 613970

I use the No-Toil all the time. I use the pre-oiled ones. I ride in 99 percent sand and haven't hade any problems.
